When you contribute to The Committee of Solidarity with Monsignor Romero of Washington DC, your contribution is directed to aids children and offer Academic scholarships to them in rural communities of Nicaragua, Honduras, Guatemala, and Paraguay, benefiting a total of 500 students annually.

Since its inception in January of 2001; The Committee of Solidarity with Monsignor Romero has helped communities and families affected by natural disasters in numerous countries. The following is a list of some of our previous projects:

Donation of USD $25,000 and 130,000 pounds of food and medicine to the victims of the 2001 earthquakes in El Salvador.

Construction of 40 houses donated to 40 families impacted by the tragedy at an estimated cost of USD $400,000.

Donation of USD $3,500 to the victims of the earthquake in Arequipa, Peru.

Donation of USD $10,000 in food to the victims of the 2001 droughts in Central America

Construction of a school in El Merendón in San Pedro Sula, Honduras.

Scholarships of school supplies for 500 hundred children in Nicaragua, Guatemala, Honduras and Paraguay in 2009.

Donations and emotional support to immigrants in precarious conditions.

Eaters children. Coronel Oviedo - Paraguay. More than 200 children receive daily meals at these centers with the help of our donors.
